How would you compair the image quality comming from a standard Cannon 18-200 f3.5 and the Sony Nex e mount 18-200 3.5. Are Cannons the same optical quality just loads cheaper? Or are the sony E mount zoom on a dif level then the cheap Cannon Zooms?

Uh, what?
You're comparing two lenses, sure, but you're comparing two different systems and you're asking for an odd verdict.

I am trying to compair the optical quality of 2 lens same f numbers same zooms just dif brands cannon ones are like 250-500 bucks sony is 750-800 bucks whats makes the sony cost more is it better opticaly or is it pretty much the same as the cheap cannons? Im trying to compair the optical quality as in i can buy a t3i and a zoom 18-200 cheaper then i can buy a sony nex with a zoom, so cannon has like a low end middle end and upper end were does sonys e mount lens stand are they closer to a middle end lens as far as optical quality or are they towards the low end like cannons cheapos for 250 bucks. 250 bucks for a 18-200 zoom as compaired to 800 for a 18-200 zoom whats the dif in price come from are the optics in one tons better then the other? why is cannons so cheap and sonys so high? If thats the low end sony zoom wonder how much a middle range sony would be? My drift is kind of it seem better to invest in the cannon system if the 800 sony lens optical quality is compairable to the cheap priced cannon. Im still debating on ditching my nex c3 for a t3i as it seems that lens of the same fstop and maybe better quality are loads cheaper

Canon EF-S 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 IS: $595
Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Autofocus Lens 2752B002 B&H Sony E-mount 18-200 f/3.5-6.3: $800 Sony E-Mount 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Zoom Lens for NEX SEL18200 B&H I dont know where you're ever seeing Canon;s 18-200 at that low of a price. If you do find it that low, be sure it isnt a scam. As far as buying one over the other: DONT BASE IT ON JUST ONE LENS. Base it on the system. SLRs arent about one body or one lens, they're about how the system as a whole works. To boot, the Canon SLR system has quite a few bonuses that the Sony NEX doesnt, and vice versa. You're not doing a fair comparison: you're comparing two completely separate systems. You might as well be comparing apples to apes. Its just not the same thing.
