You see some real odd budles out there on e-bay, but this is one of the strangest.
CANON 1D MARK IV w/ CANON 28-135 + CANON 70-300 ZOOM + 900 TELEPHOTO LENS (13803119602) | eBay $7000 for a great body and a pile of junk. ![]() ![]() Am I missing something? |

Like all grey market gear. It's an eBay bundle, I'm no longer surprised by what I see.
For giggles: (B&H prices) 1DmkIV - $5k 70-300 - $550 28-135 - $450 What that means is you're paying $1000 for some crummy "lenses" (the filter-type lenses), a very likely useless mirror lens, some likely crummy filters, a lens pen, cheap memory card, virtually useless flash, and a likely crummy bag. Maybe *MAYBE* $200-250 worth of stuff. Plus, no real warranty (I have no faith in their "Celltime Warrantee") and issues with getting work done on it, should you ever need to. Anybody with half a brain could figure out this is a stupid deal. There's no real reason for it; it's eBay. Look at the seller's other items: they're all either useless bundles similar to this one, or bodies without the usual accessories. If the sales are legit, they're bad deals. If they're not, they'll be calling asking you to pay extra for batteries and chargers and so on.

I dont get tot use ebay much at all from my location, but I "cruise" it to see the value of things.
I was wondering why a seller would waste their time hidding rubbish with a $5k full pro body. Put that stuff with a 1000D or something to catch a noob |
