Hi guys,
I've just bitten the bullet, and ordered a 7D ! I'm upgrading from a 500D (T1i).I'm looking for bag advice... my current camera bag is just big enough to house my 500D with 15-85 IS USM lens attached, and I would like a similar set-up for my new 7D. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome Thank!

Do you just have the one lens? No flashes or other accessories or anything?
Practically anything will do for that. Or are you looking into something you can grow into?

Hi ceremus,
the two lenses that I mainly use are the 15-85mm lens, and a telephoto lens with its own case. I guess I'll find out if it fits in my existing bag when it arrives

Depends on what you want really, what style and size of bag will accommodate your needs.
Personally I like the Tamrac bag I got from a recommendation off of here: Tamrac Rally 5 Camera/Netbook/iPad Bag It easily fits my camera w/ four lenses, and has enough room to accommodate something sized as a 70-200mm lens.

My 7D arrived this afternoon, and you're right- it just about fits in with my 15-85 attached. I usually stick that bag in an ordinary backpack, along with the other lens, filters etc.
I'll definitely check out that bag if I look to expand though cheers
