Default Canon 55-250 Deal at Amazon
I'm not a Canon guy, but Amazon has what looks to me like a great deal on the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS -- $144 for about 3 hours or as long as the supply lasts. (Lightning deal).

I know!!! Me too!! I was just doing some research a couple hours ago and decided on this lens but to find out it was on sale earlier this morning!!!

I hope you got the deal. It sounds like a good lens.

It's an okay lens. Nothing to write home about, though. Remember that at less then $200, you are getting what you pay for.
