I waited to long and missed out on the last refurbished 50D from Canon's site. B&H doesn't have any. Amazon are out of there minds on there 50D's. Does anyone know were to get a refurbished 50D from a reputable site?

Chances are good nobody has one. Stuff goes in and out of stock, and what with the Japanese tsunami/earthquake, this year is liable to see more shortages than the norm. My guess would be that you'll have to wait a while before you see refurbished units back in stock anywhere. And I wouldn't expect the 60D to be refreshed until spring of next year, but you never know. They may come out with a new xxD this fall. Fall product announcements get strung out from late summer until October, so I'd say keep an eye out and see how the landscape changes, or look for a used 50D.

The local camera shop, and no I'm not kidding, I got my 50D that way and 46k later it's still going strong. And it's had it's fair share of drops, bumps, spills, being rained on, 60 MPH dust storm in Death Valley, etc

I had to check the Canon refurb site twice a day for over a month to pick up a 60d (body) from them. Hang in there and when one pops up, pounce on it.
