Default canon 600D

hiii...i have this new canon 600d.....am new to dslr..can anyone help me wit regard to its basic functions....how do u feel wit this new one..have been using a sony cybershot before and this looks to be more proffesional....

Firstly, congratulations on your new camera.

My first piece of advice would be to go through the User Manual of the camera. Trust me, that's the best place to learn about your camera, it's features, different modes and settings. Also, remember to have the camera beside you while reading the manual. You can then cross refer what you read with what's on the camera.

Once you are done with that you'll feel a lot more comfortable using the camera.

The instruction manual will tell you how to change settings. No why.

your tutorial on exposure was good...have been reading the manual too.... of course it needs a lot of study and practical experience....been taking snaps while reading too...the manual mode is quite challenging...

hiiii....i just want know the life of these dslr cameras...i came to know tat it depends on the shutter life....can u help me in tat...also regarding the white balance...does it come into action during the daylight also....

1: 100,000 clicks, in short, don't worry about it.

2: shot answer - yes it's just as important outside. Long answer - white balance on DPS. I also encourage you to learn about using RAW.
