Around 900 dollars for the whole kit if you wanted to give him a good deal.

What if I wanted to get all of my monies worth out of it? Probably not too much more than that to be honest eh? They are ~ $650ish new right?

The cam new runs about $650
The 55-250 lens is about $180-$210 depending on where you buy it
The battery grip is about $70 for a true Canon one and $35 for a China spin off.

You could sell him the base camera for around ?? and transfer your big lens and the rest of the goodies less bat grip to the upgrade.

Default $900! Really?

XSi - in good condition $400, 55-250 keep it, grip and remote are available aftermarket for $40 combined. If SD cards are useful for your next camera, keep those too. If either of the other responders is serious about this setup being worth $900, I will sell you a used T1i w18-55 and choice of my non-L (28-105 or Tokina 19-35) lenses for $1,000. What a steal!?!?!

Lots of shiny glass stuff and a few flashes. Latest hardware: 100-400L. Yippee!

Everything is branded gear. I thought $900 seemed high. Thanks for the input. I probably won't keep the lens though. I mostly do air shows and will need something longer.
