Hi People,
This post might be off topic here. But did not know where else to post it. Please move to its appropriate page if possible. After much thought i was about to order a Canon 5d Mark II from B&H Photo Video. The website also offers a protection plan of $399 for three years. Here is the link of the product. Canon EOS 5D Mark II Digital Camera Kit with Can 2764B004 B&H My question here is, can I get a better(cheaper) protection plan anywhere else? And coming to the camera itself. Can I get a better deal elsewhere? My research showed up nothing. Just wanted to ask you all before making the final move. Vam |

I would check what the cost of adding it to your general household insurance (make sure it is specified) would cost.
Compare it against: $400 @ $12 a month, but it does not include theft insurance which is your one of most likely cause of a major loss. |

I did not look, but if it includes accidental damage I would,
I got the best buy one on my 70-300. About six moths later I droped the lens off a cliff while rock climbing. Guess what? I picked up the pieces, took them in, and they gave me a new lens, right there, no questions asked. B&H is know for their good CS, in short get it.
