Im close to getting the cheapest dslr that Canon has to offer, 1100D. But im wondering whether i should save and buy a better one, or 1100D will do for me (I use full manual in my compact and know quite a considerable amount about photography)
Im not thinking to get a 2nd hand. Though i know its the way to go for my budget and how slow my money increases. |

i started off with a 1000D and im very glad i did, id highly recomend starting off with an entry level, if your just starting out with a DSLR you don't need the high end stuff that comes with all the other, this will do perfectly well at most things you want to do, the only time my camera is slightly dissapointing is when i bump the ISO up for low light and thats it
if you want to go brand new then get the cheap camera and then save for glass its much more worth while and will make a bigger difference in your pictures saying that if i were you id personaly look at what you can get 2nd hand, you could get yourself a nice 30D for the price you pay for the entry level
