Question Anything to say about Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Aspherical?

Hey,

Just asking before deciding to buy or not.
Any complaints or praises about this lens?

I have red labtest review from photozone.de and seems to be great lens for less than 400€.
Just type here anything that you may have to say about this one.
This would be only for nature photography... Nothing else.

Thanks in advance.

It's a fully-manual operated lens, so if you're good with that then have at it.

Don't have one, but it has a good reputation. The main complaint against it is the mustache distortion, which can be harder to correct for than simple barrel or pincushion distortion. As OS says, it's a manual lens, so you'll need to do a bit of research to understand exactly what that means, operationally, it's not just a matter of manual focus, but also of manual aperture control, stop-down metering, and missing EXIF information.

Also, be sure to get the second [UMC] version.
