Post Advice regarding camera lens
Im new to all this and i thought i would take up photography as a new hobbie, i recently bought a canon eos slr 7D camera from Smifu and have taken some reasonable pictures with it. what lens do i need to make sure i can get closer photos for next time, please help as im loving my new hobby but just want to get it right

Are you talking "closer" as in a macro lens (for getting really close to things that are relatively nearby) or "closer" as in a telephoto lens for getting closer to things that are far-off?

What lens are you using now and where do you find it lacking in the ability to do what you want to do?

As a rule you will be disappointed in the results with a cheap lens, teleconverter, filters, etc. Better to evaluate your needs and spend the bucks. Otherwise, you will buy and then buy again.
