Default Opinions please
I am in the market for a 100 (or 85)mm lens. I'm shooting a 7D now. From these choices:
Tokina AT-X 100mm f/2.8 PRO D Macro Lens for Canon EOS ATX100MDC (new)
or
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 used

which would you recommend. I've read really good reviews on both.

I'd go with the Canon everyday. Compatability, resale, quality. No brainer. (But it has to be pristine.)
