Good start. I had a G3 a while back, too. I never understood why the swivel screen from that camera didn't take off earlier, because I used it pretty frequently.

Absolutely love my T3i. Was looking at buying the T2i with my tax refund, but when I got the money B&H was out of stock. One week later, not only was the T2i back in stock, but the new T3i was in stock. For $100 more I could have the swivel screen, but more importantly (cuz it was making me lean away from my beloved Canons to Nikon) then remote flash capability.

Great camera to get back into photography with. First started in '84 with a Canon AE-1 Program and A-1. It was nice to have a Canon in this price range with these features.
