Default Point and Shoot.

I am looking for a point and shoot to bring when I don't feel like dragging my 5d with battery grip in a dedicated bag.

Here's what I need:
  • Pocket size.
  • As long zoom as possible
  • Preferably Image Stabilization
  • Manual controls
  • Great image quality

Okay, I know, I know. Except for the pocket size, I am listing a DSLR, but who wouldn't like a pocket sized DSLR?

I had a look at the Canon SX210 IS. And the spec's aren't completely wrong. I know for the specs I am looking for it's not going to be ultra slim. Are there any better ones out there?

Looking forward to your input

The new Nikon s9100 is rather nice. 18x zoom, 1080p video, excellent image quality, about the same size as the SX210.
