Hey guys,
At the moment I have a dilemma. I want to get into photography and make some good money. Ive been practicing my photography for a good 2 years now. At the moment, my 2 camera bodies is 500d and a 5dmk2. I love the mk2, its awesome, and I think I need the full frame awesomeness. however at this time, the 500d is getting a bit outdated and I need a proper secondary camera. my budget for the next body is about 2000$. At the moment, this is the problem. Should I buy a 7d, with the new technologies, another 5dmk2 that has excellent track record already, and the ease of switching between 2 cameras is made easier, and also my necessity for full frame, or buying a used Canon 1ds MK2. Lets assume the 1ds is in prime condition, shutter life is between 20-40000 shots. And from what Ive seen, very good condition it has been kept. Now what would any of you do, and can you recommend me? For more info, I mainly shoot portraits and landscapes. But I want to expand into lots more, so variety is useful. Thanks a ton guys, sooner i get some opinions the better!

Will you be shooting sports or action, like birds in flight, in the future?

5Dmk2, for sure then
EDIT: Your 500D is getting old? That's a fairly recent camera: it shouldnt be getting old, especially as a backup camera.
