Question Looking at buying Canon T50

With standard lens, wide angle lens, & telephoto lens. Also 2 flashes, & case for all. The guy says it all still works, & I can get it for $75.00. I know it is a film camera, my question is is it worth the money. Can the lenses be used else where?

I am new to photography, I currently us a Kodak EasyShare Z981.

The T50 was an FD mount, so the lenses, for the most part, cannot be used on current Canon dSLRs (they use the later EOS mount). They can be used with adapters, but to achieve focus to infinity, there is some image quality compromise, as the adapters have to have a glass element in them, and they act like teleconverters.

The lenses can be adapted with simple mechanical rings (no IQ compromise, because there's no glass) for the compact mirrorless cameras, like micro four-thirds, Sony NEX, and Samsung NX cameras. But these are manual lenses: both focus and aperture control is done from the lens, not the body. No autofocus, no wide-open metering, and holes in the EXIF information. So, you don't want to be using them for fast-action photography.

OTOH, to have a complete 35mm film SLR outfit for $75.00 ain't bad.

Thanks for your input. The seller will bring it to work Thursday or Friday, I will be buying it.
