Default I switched lanes from Oly to Canon....

from an E-410 to a 500D and I have a problem. I used to manually change my white balance from 2200K up to 7800K if I'm not mistaken. I cannot for the life of me find where to do this on the Canon or even find out if the T1i has this feature. I know that it has the different ranges, but I wanted to look at the light and be able to choose 2800K and not 2600 - 4200K. Is there a Canon <1K on the market with this feature?

Canon 60D has the Kelvin white balance setting. The body is $900, new. The kit, however is over $1k, because it's kitted with the 18-135 IS, not the 18-55 IS.

You may want to consider looking into a used or refurbed 40D/50D/60D. The XXD bodies are a sizable step up over the dRebels when it comes to usability feature sets. However, if video is a must-have feature for you, then the 60D is probably the only option.

Default Thanks...

Video is not a must and it really isn't that great IMO. Then again, I've only used it twice. I've ordered two lenses today so I guess I could go for the body only.
