I just purchased a canon 5d mk 2....and the mirror sounds louder than my 7d...it is a bit jarring to the hands as well. when i was in adorama, i decided to ask the sales associate what he thought and he said nothing was wrong, and as long as it was taking good pics it should be fine...needless to say, i just wanted to check with the more seasoned players on the forum...anybody notice this difference when they upgraded or bought their mark 2?

Bigger mirror = more clunk.
Try playing with a proper medium format camera! It feels like there's a small elf in the camera cranking on a lever.
