Canon Fires Away - 5 New Compacts

The switch appears to be complete -
all of the new cameras come with a 12mp 1/2.3" CMOS sensor,
their HS system and 1080p24 video including optical zoom (except IXUS 115).
Canon seems to be the only company reducing megapixels on newer models.

The replacements of the SX210 are the SX220 and SX230.
Same x14 zoom, better lcd, GPS on the SX230.

IXUS 310 (ELPH 500 - no more SD) replaces the IXUS 300 (SD4000).
It has a F/2.0-5.8, 24-105mm lens, wider than the 28mm of the SD4000.

The IXUS 115 (ELPH 100) replaces the IXUS 105 (SD1300)
with a x4 zoom (28-112mm) in a 141 gram body.

The IXUS 220 (ELPH 300) replaces the SD1400 (IXUS 130)
also has a 141 gram body but with a much nicer x5 zoom 24-120mm lens.
