Vello BG-Series Battery Grips

Does anyone have any experience with these battery grips?
Quality, build? Comparison to the OEM grips?

At half the price of a OEM grip I have to give it some consideration.

You've got some nice gear, I'd get the Canon version.

I've got two Nikon's, and never thought about putting anything but a Nikon grip on both of them.

Agreed.

It's a gamble with that other piece... there's no gamble when buying the name brand product.

I bought the "cheap" (~£40) version of the Sony grip (£250). The ONLY difference is that mine doesn't have the Sony logo's on! ..... and it's been great

Wood & maxharvard - I value your input, I will keep that in mind. I'm usually a OEM guy all the way.

Biomech - Just by looking at the pictures it looks like a quality product. Thanks for your input also.
I'm hoping someone has had personal expierence with their products.
