Good morning, I got the Canon Powershot SX301S for Christmas. I have found that my pictures (especially) faces - are more orange than it should be. I used the automatic function with and without flash - and I also saw that in macro pictures, anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong. I have to add that I am not an expert photographer at all, but am eager to learn as much as I can. Thank you

Two likely culprits
White balance: The colour of "white" changes depending on what kind of light you're in. Certain lights make white look orange, and therefore make everything else look orange. If the camera is set to the wrong white balance, or isnt choosing the right one, it could make everything look orange. It just seems to appear that way in faces because theyre already fairly orange. Picture Styles: Canon has automatic colour profiles in the camera that allow you to change the colour to be more vivid or less vivid, black and white, sepia, etc. If youve got it set to more vivid, your faces could be showing up fairly orange
