I haven't heard anything about the place you mentioned but I have heard very good things about LensRentals.com - Rent Canon, Nikon, Olympus, or Sony Lenses.

I also have not heard of the place you mentioned, however I have had exceptional experiences with lensrentals.com.
They have the lens; ALWAYS go with insurance. LensRentals.com - Rent a Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS |

I just got done renting from rentglass.com...excellent experience! I rented the Canon 100-400L (GREAT lens). When I received the lens it would not focus, I was quite disappointed; however, they were quite helpfull and quick to get me out a replacement lens (at no extra charge). The entire process was quick and easy, excellent customer service...a GREAT way to try out a lens before you take the plunge, or if you only need that type of lens on occassion.

I always go way out of my way to recommend Cameralensrentals.com. Partially, admittedly, that's because they are one of the few who stock Pentax, but I've also had some great experiences with them. They pack their lenses extremely well when they ship them, are extremely flexible to work with your needs, and will do their best to help you out, including a sort of informal rent to own program.
