Default Lost in a Sea of Information...lense or camera problem?
I haven't used my Canon T1i for very long, but after traveling home for the holidays I took my camera out of its bag and I can't get the zoom...to zoom. Not my 18-55mm or my 70-300 will zoom. While I have my instruciton manual with me, all my software CD's are 2500 miles away. Any insights on what could be the issue? Canon website not much help.

Dang it... I just tried to quickly get log back in so I could delet my 'DOLT' of a question...
Jet Lag?....aahhhh...lack of sleep....mmmm... can't think of any other good explanations... thanks for not saying, what I'm thinking, of my lack thereof!
I'm also new to the forum and don't know how to delet the original post!

I know why I thought that I should be abe to zoom from the right thumb area... I used my point & shoot Canon S50 last week...that's where that idea came from... ok I don't feel a little less like a dolt now about my original question...
