When I export RAW files to JPEG over to PS CS5 it does something that I cannot explain. Once the JPEG is exported from lightroom over to photoshop I cannot zoom in past 100% without the picture becoming so pixelated you cannot edit it at all. Anyone have any idea??

Is there a reason for exporting, rather than right-clicking and "Edit In..."?

Check your export settings.
Make sure your File Settings for image quality is 100 and the "Limit File Size to" is not checked. Also make sure that your Image Sizing isn't converting it to 72 ppi. I have mine set to 300 ppi

inkista's got it right... why are you even exporting it at all instead of just taking it directly to PS from the develop module?

As an addendum, sometimes you may not want to go directly from LR to PS, for whatever reason. I do it on occasion. Best practice is to export a .psd from LR, that way you don't have to mess with ACR or .xmp files.
