Question Newbie needs advice on filter size
I have a Canon EOS 400d which has the 58mm filter fitting size but I want to buy a 50mm f1.8 which has a 52mm filter size. Do you know if there is a filter adaptor of some sort and will the lens still work correctly with the adaptor. I have contemplated the f1.4 but my budget won't stretch that far yet as I've just had to pay my tax bill and this has left me a pauper.

wont be able to use a lens hood though, i'm thinking anyway.
