Default Lens Differences

Hi,

It's not just differences in output.
It would be hard to see real life differences between the lenses in downsized web photos.
If you are referring to the 50mm f/1.8 and the 50mm f/1.4 - the latter differs in focus speed and accuracy, in shallower depth of field and in contrast.
It feels better in your hand, that's not something you can show online.
Does all of that justify the higher price? That's for you to decide.
I made the jump from f/1.8 to f/1.4 and have no regrets.
I was sorry to pay half the cost of the lens again when its focusing mechanism broke - a known issue with the f/1.4.

Are you talking about the EF 50mm f/2.5 macro?
