Default 5d mkII question...

Hi guys...what I'd like to know is how do you register your name / copyright to the exif data??? I know it can be done, but I have no idea how! Anyone out there who can put me right on this one?

Cheers,

Mark

You have to use the Canon software. I'm on a Mac, so not sure if this'll be exactly the same for Windows, but:
  1. Connect your camera to your computer with the USB cable.
  2. Turn the camera on. Put it in M mode.
  3. Open EOS Utility.
  4. Under "Control Camera" select "Camera settings/Remote shooting."
  5. When the remote shooting window opens, near the middle of the window, you'll see four icon buttons: camera, tools, a star, and a timer. Click on the tools button.
  6. In Setu-up Menu, click on each setting, and then fill in what you want for Owner, Author, and Copyright notice.
  7. Click on the star button. Set up "My Menu" from there (you actually have access to specific selections you don't in-camera, like going directly to Mirror Lock-Up instead of the Custom Function menu that contains it). Click on the Apply to camera button to save your settings.
