You can find a lot of "how to..." articles on lens fungus on the net. But I still curious about your personal opinion about how to prevent lens fungus. I live in Miami and I shoot a lot of destination weddings in the Caribbean where humidity is high all around the year. Therefore lens fungus is something I am concerned about.
- I keep my gear air conditioned all the time. - when I am outside I always take them out of the leader case so they get fresh air. What do you think?

Just make sure that when theyre put away, the humidity is controlled. Either with silica packets or something similar. You might want to look at a proper drybox for your climate.

I use a 2# silica bag to make sure my gear stays dry in such environments. You can make these easily with 2# of flower drying crystals and a somewhat thin bag. Stitch it shut and you are ready. When you are sure that the drying bag has been soaked too much just drop it in the microwave for about 30 seconds and let sit in open sun. This "recharges" the whole deal.
You can build one of these bags for about $9 and it will last you years. If you want you can make 2 smaller bags to break up the coverage. As for lens fungus, there are those who say that almost all lenses have it. I am not sure I agree totally with that, but it can be controlled with some care. Hope this was of some help to you Keep shooting
