Default 7d - 35-350

Anyone have the 7D - 35-350 ? I am wondering if the MA adjustment can help on low and high end .
35-50 mm and 300 to 350 . Not quite sharp enough for me .
Thanks .

Had to look the lens up online, but most review say that it's weakest from 35-50 and 250-350. So that's normal, and the micro-adjust wont help.

Thanks , mine is good from about 50 mm to about 300 depending on lighting and if I use the tripod .
I was hoping someone had the lens with the 7D and had tried / adjusted and had good results .
With the rebates , I'll probably have one pretty quick .
I have had the lens about 12 years and it has served me well .

Unfortunately the micro-adjust doesnt cure all lens issues. The optics themselves are soft at those focal lengths: Micro-adjust only affects the autofocus.

I find that sometimes my lenses autofocus a little in front of or behind my intended target, and if the lens does it constantly, it would benefit from the adjustment.

Default thanks

Thanks , I generally snap off or try to -3 shots - focus on ear , then eye , then nose .
Or if farer out there , shoulder , then head , nose .
A lot of trashed shots , but sometimes it pays off .
The only other thing is focus speed . I am used to it but then I pick up the 10-22 faster or the 17-55 - fastest .
The size and weight Iam used too .
