I just bought a Canon G12 but I can't edit any of the RAW photos in Lightroom3 with it. I updated my software to the newest version but it still won't recognize it.
Does anyone if there is something I can do to fix it or have any suggestions? I can edit photos if they are in JPEG but not in RAW.

Make sure LR3 is up to the most current version and, while youre at it, make sure the version you have/are getting supports the G12. Its new, it may not be totally supported yet.

The latest version of Camera RAW (6.2) doesn't yet support the G12 or the S95. You have to wait until ACR is updated to include them. There's always a lag between the camera release and ACR support.

Ahh, thanks guys but I was afraid of that. I know the S95 works on Lightroom3 as my friend has one but I guess I will just have to wait. You would think this is the 21st Century that Adobe would be on this one... but i understand what your saying and will have to wait.

Updates to LR (3.3) and ACR (6.3) will now let you use RAW from the G12.
