Default What Lense to Buy

I have a Canon 50 D. I want to take upclose photos with a blurred background. Which lense do you suggest? I am just starting my business so cost is a major factor.

EF 50mm f/1.8 II. It's plasticy and a PITA for manual focus work, but it's incredibly cheap.

For a crop, a 28-35mm is a more natural focal length. If cost is a concern, the nifty-fifty (50mm f/1.8) is a great lens for the price.

First of all, a most important feature interchangeable lens camera, what lens, you can place your needs. Different from the simple point and not moving the camera and its not limited to any shoot you into the camera manufacturer basis. Second, everyone has different needs and budgets.
