Default new camera!!!! yay!

so last night i was browsing ebay, and i saw an awesome deal on a 50D with the 28-135 lens. so i bought it. and i'm super excited. this will be the first DSLR that i've actually owned, even though i've been shooting with them more or less regularly for the past two years.

FINALLY, i don't have to use my little point and shoot that just frustrates me more than anything because it is impossible to get it to do what i want it to do.

i'll post some pics as soon as i get it, which will hopefully be by next wednesday or so...

yeah, one of my good friends has had one for a while, and it's great. i was looking at the 60D too, but even though there are definitely some improvements, i wasn't too thrilled with the features they removed/downgraded and the new layout.

i think the 50D will be an excellent fit.

I shoot with a 50D and I love it. You can do quite a bit with it. Congrats!
