Default Canon T1i eyepiece extender?

Hi,
I have a Canon T1i and when using the eyepiece, I end up with my nose pressed against the LCD screen. I've looked to see what my options are to maybe extend the eyepiece but I'm confused. It looks like the "eyepiece extenders" that I've seen are meant to magnify the image and/or help for wearers of glasses. I know that I've seen something attached to cameras before but maybe I don't know what it's called. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Keith

I have seen the ones meant to look at an angle from above down in the eyepiece. I would be interested in one you describe for my eos 7d as when I take a picture my nose is up against the viewfinder screen and it leaves a greasy mess on the screen. Now I am 50 years old and pass my acne days but still seem to have a greasy nose to contend with, some guys have all the luck.

Is this what you mean?
Canon Direct Store- Eyepiece Extender EP-EX15

It reduces magnification though.

Edit: a review:

I'm not sure if that's what I was looking for but it's what I had found. I was mostly asking for advice. Maybe I'll just order it and see what it does for me. Thanks.

Does this help at all? It is an eyecup, not extender

I use the EX15 but I remove the lens from inside, this give me a direct undistorted view, and 100 % of the view finder.
