Default Which type of card does the EOS 50D use?

As the title asks Does the 50D use CF or SD?

Thanks!

ETA: Also, I'm just curious, is there a big difference (performance wise) between the two? I've used point & shoots with both types and I hate the CF cards because the whole pin array thing seems so fragile and I've had to replace a pin array before when a pin was bent by a damaged card.

It uses CF. I haven't had any problems, though I am careful how I handle things like that anyway.

Thanks Michaela. I'm really careful about it now too... it was an expensive lesson!
