Default Is it worth adapting FD lenses

My father in law gave me some of his old FD lenses a 28mm and a 75-250mm does anyone have any experience adapting the old FD lenses for use with an EOS lens system? I know the adapters exist but does anyone know if its worth the 40 bucks, and if so any recommendations?

We've had a couple of threads on this lately. Basically, no, it's not worth it unless you're adapting a macro lens, or using a $600 vintage adapter for an old L telephoto lens. FD is only easily adapted to micro four-thirds mount.

So the 28mm F1:2.8 prolly isn't worth it? I don't have a macro lens of that stature, the closest I get is the Kit lens with the 18mm.

Nope. A $40 adapter ring either won't have a glass element and therefore won't let you achieve focus to infinity, or it will have a glass element that will let you focus to infinity, but will lower your image quality and make your lens slower and longer.
