Does anyone know how to use this setting on a Canon Rebel?
Is it even possible on this?

If you mean the 300D, yes, it's custom function 15, 1st curtain/2nd curtain sync.

Uh... I don't think the 300D has a custom functions menu unless you hacked the firmware...

I'm using firmware v.1.1.1 which can be found on the Canon USA site...

You could be right; I'm not the first owner of my 300D. But I don't have all of the features that firmware hacks supposedly offer... I just know that on my 300D, flash sync is in the custom functions menu!
