Default My 400D was stolen, what to get next??
My baby was nicked. So I'm shopping for a replacement. My new camera needs to fit my old lenses, I was very happy with the 400D but what should I get next, or should I just get the same again? TIA!

Oh.. hehe.. camera!!

If you were happy with the 400 - Maybe check out the 550D, it's very nice and in the same kind of range.

Another possibility would be to go back one generation and up one tier: a used 40D in excellent condition goes for around $650 these days.

go with a 50d they are a steal!!(sorry didn't mean to say that) right now and a semi pro camera to boot!

I would use the chance to step up to the semi-pro body. The leap is substantial... promise.
50D is excellent, although if you want the movie mode then maybe staying with the 550D is the answer

You could stretch to a second hand 7D.... there are some floating around
