Default decided to share my refurbished canon xsi review

this is my first dslr and after some research i decided to get the refurbished one for $479 from Adorama. After i checked resellerratings.com i knew that Adorama was reputable website. it took exactly 7 days to get here Southern California from their office which is located in New Jersey if i'm not wrong. it came in huge box with bubble wrap to protect the camera and accessories. box was white with REFURBISHED written on it. bundle lens also had refurbished sticker on it as well as the body itself. i removed that sticker and i checked how many shutter count it had. IT HAD 3500. this doesn't really bother me since i knew it wasn't going to be brand new but i thought 3500 was pretty a lot for a refurbished. however everything else didn't have any scratch. I didn't know it comes with body cap. lens also came with front and rear caps which i already purchased from eBay. stupid me. so far so good i will just have to go out to field and take some shot. one more thing i tried to do dead pixel test but somehow program i downloaded kept crashing so i couldn't

Adorama is a great company. I buy stuff from them (and B and H) all of the time.

Not sure how many clicks you think there should be on it. Refurbished means it's used but has been cleaned up properly. I don't believe they reset the number of clicks when they do this. I wouldn't say 3500 is a lot at all (unless you meant 35,000, in which case I'd say that's a lot for a camera like this).

I'm sure you'll enjoy many happy snaps with it. Enjoy it and take lots of photos. Oh, and post them here!

My XSI is from october `09 and has around 4000 clicks.
don`t worry about it,you can still do 96500 clicks (if the camera lives that long)

I shoot half that on one-week's vacation, at least. 3500 is an half of what I shoot over the course of a summer season.

"Refurbished" means that the camera had an issue, was sent to Canon and was repaired to as-new spec with any issues gone. In some cases refurbished cameras can be better than their off-the-shelf brethren because they've been examined with a finer-tooth comb.
