Hi everybody,
I am a new user and have a Canon PowerShot SX200IS. I have trouble with the LCD monitor in bright sun conditions, as I get my reflection in the monitor which washes out the picture. I have been advised to use the camera at a lower level, as opposed to eyelevel and to one side. This works but requires some waggling to get a good composition. I really miss not having an optical viewfinder, but they seem to be out of fashion. 5 am thinking of changing to a Fujifilm fine pix as they offer a digital viewfinder which is a step in the right direction. However the Canon is a fine camera and I would like to overcome this problem.Has anybody any ideas? |

There really arent any options, and this is why a lot of people dont care about live view on a dSLR. LCD screens have come a long way, btu theyre still going to be hard to see in bright light.
