Default Which Lens would you buy

I have the 7D which I was able to get with two kit lens 28-135mm and 75-300mm, both 3.5-5.6ISO. I am a beginner and while I have the extra funds I would like to start thinking about better lenses.

A little more info on what you plan to do will help in giving recommendations for a lense, shooting sports, landscapes, weddings, mostly inside, outside...etc...
Oh and a budget amount...

I want to focus on events that my daughter participate in. Piano Recitals, gymnastics, and singing in the church choir. I am in Afghanistan and we have beautiful mountains all around us.
My budget is around $600.00 for now. but could go a little higher.

So you are looking at inside events that arent always going to have the best lighting for slower glass, you have 3 routes, fast glass (i.e. F2.8=$$) or get a speedlite ($), or bump up the ISO with what you have to get the shots...

You forgot Route 4: get a fast prime.

The EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, EF 100mm f/2 UM, or EF 135mm f/2.8 Soft Focus would probably be the lenses I'd be looking at for the stage shooting, assuming you have to shoot from your seat. If you can get up and get close to the performance, then a 50/1.8 or 50/1.4 would probably work.

However, I'd also say the other hole in your lens lineup if you want to do landscape photography is something that's actually going to be wide angle on your 7D: something below 20mm. The EF-S 10-22 is your most likely bet.

I agree, the EF 85mm f/1.8 USM would be a great place to start for your daughter's events... you can find those for around $400 or less. That, along with your 28-135 (which I love by the way) for your outdoor shots should get you going for awhile. Your 75-300, as long as you have a good tripod, will be ok for practice for now.

For mine, I'd go with Inkista's last suggestion, that of the wide angle lens. The Canon EF10-22mm or the Sigma 10-20mm will open up a whole new world in landscape terms. For everything else you have the focal length covered, so before you get yourself a flash unit, you can bump up the ISO.

...and can I also suggest a monopod/tripod and remote switch.

Wow
Thanks for the great advice. Lots of good information and I will proceed from there. I do have the Canon
580ex Speedlignt. but with all else I am still learning to master the basics without it.
Any suggestion for Monopod/tripod and remote switch?

i'd say if you aren't sure what exactly you would want to shoot that you can't do with your current lenses, then don't get a new one.

personally i would get the 10-22, but then again i love super wide angle shots and if you don't then something else may be better
