Question Canon 450D to factory settings?

How do I get the LCD panel to revert to the view rather than show the settings all the time - on automatic shot?

Hi, don't have my camera with me at the moment but think all you need to do is press the disp button on top of the LCD a few times. The one on the top right I think. Will have a check when I get home.

Ah, think I miss read you post, if its liveview you mean then you press the set button or if you have reverted you camera settings then go into your menu and go to the 5th page(yellow box with a white spanner and 2 dots?) at the bottom there should be a menu called Live View Function Settings, go into it and change Live View Shoot from Disable to Enable, unfortunately I think this can only be done in the creative or P modes.
