Hi there,
in a couple of weeks I am shooting my first wedding and have a question... I have a Canon prime lens 50 mm f.1.8, a Sigma wide angle lens, 10-20 mm f.4.5 and a Sigma zoom lens 18-70 mm I was wondering, for a wedding, do I need any additional lenses? And if, which one would be a good choice? Thank youuu,,,:-)) Sabina |

I wasn't going to post because I am not a professional photographer... But I did sleep in a Holiday Inn last night.
![]() Are you shooting the wedding as a paid photographer or are you a guest planning on taking pictures to give to the Bride and Groom? Either way a zoom telephoto (Preferably a fast sharp one like the 70-200 f2.8) will be helpful to get well framed shots without having to get too close. This is appreciated by the couple and family during the ceremony. The same lens will be appreciated by you during the reception where there is often so much going on. The zoom will give you a lot of opportunities for shots you'll never be fast enough to get into position for by foot.

Thank you guys for your replies..:-))
I am a Children's Photographer (www.sabinaprocacci.com) in Naples, Fl but this is one of my first weddings... It will be a church wedding (inside) and after that a reception outside... I do have an external flash (Speedlite) and my zoom lens is a Sigma 17-70 F 2.8-4.5 DC Macro lens, which works well for outdoor sessions... I was thinking of buying a new lens for that occasion and wanted to know which one is a good one ( I do have another beach wedding in June) Thanks again, for you imput, Sabina |
