Default Love tax time!

So, I sold off some equipment and am adding a little bit of money to get some upgraded gear. Just picked up a used 28-70mm f2.8 L lens yesterday. Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain like crazy the next couple of days. I guess I'll play around with it indoors.

Ordered an Alien Bee wireless transmitter/receiver to do off-camera flash.

Ordered a 580EX II flash kit which comes with a bracket and a couple of other goodies.

Can't wait to play!

I will, as soon as it stops raining...

Where in NJ are you? I'm in Clifton. Been wanting to get some people together for a photo walk when the spring finally springs...

go ahead, get in that rain and photograph. just protect your gear. i know how you feel though, i don't like photographing in the rain, but i have, snow even. so it's going to be raining until sunday in NJ.

i live in maplewood, work in west orange. a photowalk sounds great.

Rain wouldn't bother me but it's supposed to POUR...me no likey pouring rain.

Supposed to be at the WO St. Patty's Parade on Sunday. A friend lives on the route and has a big party every year. I'm hoping it stops raining enough so I can get some good shots while we're there.

I'll see if I can set something up (a walk) in the coming weeks. I'm going to VT for Easter week so those two weekends are shot.
