Default Back Focusing and Meta Data

I have no problem back focusing with the 50D but cannot seem to do it with the 5D? Does it have that function?
Also, in my metadata I notice that the previous owner of my 5d still has his name in it - how do I switch to my name - or better yet, just erase his name?

Backfocusing isn't something you DO, it's something the lens does, and it's generally not good. You may have some AF compatibility issues. Im pretty sure both the 50D and 5D have a fine-tuning option in their menus.

There should also be an item in the setup menu for the copyright/name change.

For back button focussing:
On a 5D Custom function #4 - see page 156 of the English manual.

Use the ZoomBrowser in 'Canon EOS Solutions Disk' to change the 'Owner's Name' field.
