Default Full Frame Camera?

Does anybody knows which Canon models are full frame slr cameras?

I know the Rebel T1 is a croped frame camera, what about the 50d though? Also which models are full frame cameras?

Canon's 1Ds and 5D DSLRs are "full frame". The 1D (not to be confused with the 1Ds) is "1.3x crop". All of its other DSLRs are "1.6x crop".

Full frame cameras are designated APS. The 1.6x crop cameras are APS-C, and 1.3x crop are APS-H.

For the most part, the 5D series are APS, 1D series are APS-H, and everything else is APS-C.

APS is a throwback to the Advanced (film) Photo System (also known as Advantix), which had a reduced frame size. So full-frame cameras aren't called APS, just full-frame (Nikon designates them FX).

False.

any body with 2, 3 or 4 digits in the name (ie ##D, ###D, or ####D) are APS-C sized sensor (1.6 crop). The 7D is also a 1.6 crop.

the 5D series has ALWAYS been full-frame (no crop)

the 1D series is a APS-H (1.3 crop) body

the 1Ds series is full-frame.

If you go to Wikipedia, they have a very nice timeline and is updated in real time.
Here...

You can also find one for Nikon.
Cheers
