these shots have been edited using photoshop n picasa. i found it worth sharing that hw can some basic fixes using camers raw (in photoshop cs3) can create a drastic difference to a seemingly unimpressive snaps.i hope it helps newbies like me.
(by the way, how to insert a photo in the middle of a sentence, n not attach it in the end? cant figure it out?)

for a start, i myself think that i lost lots of details while doing the third and fourth snap, the trees i am refering to. they have almost started to look like shilloutes.
are such snaps ideal candidate for HDRs ? can i manipulate the exposure settings using camera raw to get three individual snaps and combine to form a HDR using photomatix ? or is taking individual snaps my only option ? what is the difference ? i used jpgs all throghout.

To get the best HDR picture you really need to take 3 individual shots with different exposures. Remember when doing HDR you are exposing for the shadows in one shot the correct exposure the second shot and the highlights the third shot. You can go even further than that but you really need those 3 shots to put a great HDR together.
