Default Cumberland River pano With Topaz edit

Well I finally got around to messing with some photos that I took last spring. It was raining and I only had time to get about 5 shots off before It really got bad.

So here is the before image which is the pre-cropped version (notice umbrella in upper left) followed by the PP version that has had some "tweaking" done in Topaz Adjust.

Enjoy, and CC welcome.

I love the vintage-y feel of your edit. I think it's a bit over-sharpened, though.

Thanks, and

Yep, that's because of the reduction in the size of the image. If you click on it, you will go to photobucket where you can get to a bigger version that is closer to the original.

But the original file is 24x12 inches at 300 dpi and it is being reduced to fit in Photobucket and other forum sites requirements to1250 px which is about 4.5x2.5 inches @300 dpi which is then further shrunken down by the size requirements for DPS, and so anything that was sharp to begin with is now super sharp.

I actually tried shrinking it down in Photoshop to 750 px, it looked awful. There was just too much picture to reduce it to a 750 px size. That is only a problem for me when I take huge images and size them down, normal images aren't as problematic.

I love what you've done. I live near the Cumberland too in Nashville and this looks like something that would be in a calendar. Very well done.

Thanks. I am going to make a wall hanging of it once I find the RAW files...there was too much banding in the jpgs that that one came from.
