3 pics on tripod.Used my old XTI, late last summer for this shot.

Wow that is a dramatic difference. I'm new to any serious kind of editing so curious did you use any effects at all or did u just simply adjust each layer. Asking another way, same pic on each level and then played with hue, contrast etc? Thanks for sharing.

I adjusted each layer. Almost like what you would do if making an HD photo. I put them all together with a soft light effect then in lightroom i boosted the saturation, darkness and contrast once again and that was it. About a 20 minute job.

I do like the HDR, but I think that the original is a much stronger image.

Way more dramatic in #2. But I do like #1. It gives a feeling of the vastness of the ocean.

Love all the blue in the before image but what a dramatic after image.
