Default Retro/Vintage

I did my first model photo shoot yesterday, and I had an absolute blast. She was a lot of fun to work with, and the hair and wardrobe stylists were great.

I've started processing the photos for proofs, and here is one of the before and afters that I thought I would share with DPS. See attached.

Brief description of what I did:
- Removed any blemishes
- Removed shadow under eye
- Dodged/burned eyes
- Smoothed skin (surface blur)
- RGB curves adjustment

Fun shot! The edited version reminds me an 80's Vogue cover (that is not a dis, it's a compliment!). I think the contrast may have gone just a *bit* too far, maybe back off a tiny bit. Perhaps add just a tad of color back into the background?

Thanks for the comments!

I'll take both suggestions into consideration. The shoot was a lot of fun, and I'm really happy with the results so far.

No worries! I took it as a compliment since we were going for the vintage fashion look. Thanks!
