Default My Daughter the Ham

This is my first experience using RAW. I opened this shot up in CS4 and just started playing. I don't really know what I did, but I am very happy with the results! I'm going to keep playing to make it a little brighter.

Hey everyone:

It was one of those rare moments when you open up a new program (in this case, Adobe's Camera Raw program and tinker with buttons until something works. Sometimes it doesn't always work but this time it did!

A little too sharpened for my liking, try to back up the sharpening. Look at the palm of her hand. Just a small suggestion. Otherwise, great.

Good example of what can be done to take a rather flat image and make something better.
It is a little heavy on the sharpening and contrast (taken all the little lady softness out of her) but keep playing and you will find the balance

If you want to have real fun, download Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta (its free) and see how much more you can do with a full set of tools
